How ConseguirCita works: what we watch, what we do and what we don't

Updated: 2026-09-10

We watch the official cita previa portal around the clock. When a slot appears for your province and your trámite we tell you — or, if you have chosen automatic booking, we book it in your name using the details you gave us. We do not resell booked appointments and we are not an intermediary for any administration.

What we actually do

The official appointment portal shows the slots available at the moment you check it. It does not notify anyone, it holds no queue and it has no waiting list: if there is no slot in that second, there is no slot.

Our job is to run that check for you, continuously, for the specific combination of province and trámite you need. When availability appears, one of two things happens, depending on what you have chosen.

The two plans

Alerts — 5 €. We watch your combination for 14 days and write to you every time a slot appears, by Telegram and by email. You book the appointment yourself, on the official portal, with your own details. We do not batch alerts or hold them back: the message goes out as soon as we detect the slot.

Automatic booking — 25 €. As well as watching, we book for you. You choose a date and we work within a window of your date ±1 day — three days in total. The booking is made in your name, with the NIE or passport, name and year of birth you provided. We do not use anyone else's details and we do not transfer appointments.

Refund guarantee

It is designed so that it does not depend on arguing with anyone: it checks itself.

What we do not do

Worth saying plainly, because this field attracts all sorts:

What we need from you

For alerts, the province and the trámite are enough. For automatic booking we also need the details the portal asks for in its form: NIE or passport number, full name and year of birth. They are the same details you would type on the official site, and they are used only for that booking.

If you are still not sure why there are no appointments

It is the most common question, and it depends neither on us nor on you: it is explained in no appointments available. If what you need is the document list, that is in the fingerprint appointment guide.

FAQ

Are you a gestoría, or connected to the police or a ministry?

No. We are an independent service. We do not handle files, we do not advise on your case, and we have no relationship with the Ministry of the Interior, the National Police or the immigration offices. All we do is watch the public availability of appointments and alert you.

Are you selling me an appointment that is already booked?

No, and this is the important difference. The appointment is requested with your details: your NIE or passport, your name, your year of birth. On the alerts plan you book it yourself; on the automatic plan we book it in your name. At no point does a booking made in somebody else's name change hands.

What if no appointment ever appears?

If 14 days pass and we have not alerted you even once, we refund the full 5 €, automatically. On automatic booking, if we do not secure the appointment within your date window, we refund the full 25 €.

Why does automatic booking cover three days rather than one?

Because hitting one exact day is very hard: slots appear when they appear. We book within a window of your chosen date plus or minus one day — three days in total — so that the chance of getting something is reasonable.

Can you get me an appointment if I already have an active one for the same trámite?

No. The ICP system itself rejects a second appointment for the same trámite in the same province while one is still active. We warn about this before payment, and in that specific case the payment is not refunded.

Rather not refresh the ICP all day? Pick your province and procedure — the bot watches the official portal and tells you the moment a slot opens.
